How long have you been in the industry?
I believe I first installed a deck when I was 13, and I started charging for installation labor when I was 15. That was 6 years ago. Employed in the business since '04 - that's more official. 5 years.
How many years have you been MECP certified? How long have you been Master certified?
Basic and then Advanced when I attended Mobile Dynamics in Fall of 2006, Master as of January 2009
What is the year, make and model of the most difficult car you've ever worked on?
German cars often make you pull of 10 pieces of trim to get to one little tiny thing you need access to...but I can't think of a specific car. Remote starts in BMWs and MINIs until very recently with newer modules have been difficult.

Name the top five artists in your MP3 player at the moment.
I can't really say I have a favorite or even a top 5. I'm way too into music to be that specific. I've recently listened to lots of Muse, Queens of the Stone Age, Michael Buble, Cake, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Count Basie... off the top of my head
What is your favorite tool to use in the installation bay and why?
My new favorite tool is a PTH soldering tool from Esico Triton because you can solder massive wires (I tested it with 5 # 12 wires!) with no fear of cold solder joints REALLY quickly. I love it.
What's the best advice you have ever gotten in your installation career?
Do it right the first time. I live by that.
Who inspires you to further your skills and your career in mobile electronics installation? Steve Coogle, Jon Kowanetz, Steve Hock, Edward from Home Grown Customs, and a whole bunch of installers on fiberglassforums.com. Very inspiring being on there.
